Baby Dreaming

This was a room that I designed for a client. There is nothing sweeter than a little baby girl's room.
This beautiful crib in Butter Cream yellow, can easily be converted to a bed. The headboard is solid with carved floral accents.

Canopy over the crib was created with sheer satin with floral embellishments. The canopy creates a feeling of Royalty.

Custom bedding for crib.
Ribbon was used instead of fabric on the bedding ties for a feminine appearance.

Custom satin bed skirt.

Matching satin swag window treatment with crystal beaded trim.

Antiqued dresser with crystal knob hardware.
Close-up of hardware. The hardware was chosen to tie in the crystals in the chandelier and window treatment and to create a sparkle effect in the room.

Two walls were wallpapered with 3-dimensional paper, antiqued, then glazed to enhance textured pattern. Doors, mouldings, and trim were painted in a white-washed green paint. Other walls were painted in a beautiful soft Butter Cream yellow.

An antique white chandelier dripping with crystals hangs from the ceiling, and pulls the eye up to the vaulted ceilings.

Lisa,

What a beautiful room. You did a great job on it. I would love for my little girls to have a room just like this one day. I am so excited that you got this up and running. I cant wait to see what you post next.
